A shooting early this morning left one man dead and another in critical condition, police say.
Cops responded to a call of shots fired at E 16th Street and Avenue I at 4:17am, and upon arrival found one 23-year-old and one 24-year-old man, each with a single gunshot wound.
The 23-year-old, whose wound was to the head, was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS, while the 24-year-old is now in critical condition at Kings County Hospital.
Update: The 23-year-old man has been identified at Gerard Grant of E 80th Street in Canarsie.
A 23-year-old Canarsie man was killed and another man seriously injured in what appears to be a drive-by shooting in Midwood early Saturday morning.
