Countering Satan

The only enemy in our life is Sattan, rest of the enemies are just working on his plans intentionally or unintentionally. To beat him we need to focus on his methods and his weaknesses (as he focuses on ours). To my analysis he is quite intelligent and patient enough to wait for the long term results of his efforts. He has focused on seemingly smaller things to keep the people in a state where they are either not productive or counterproductive. His main temptations are generally common and clear to everyone. Some of the tools that he uses but are not very clear are:

Diverge the Focus:

FOCUS: concentration of thoughts on a point. This may help in identifying our weaknesses,

and creating solutions of the problems we are facing etc.

- Just like right now I have diverged from the project I am working on to writing this text :)

- Creating an environment to diverge focus.. To create such Ads that can attract your focus

and help to forget things you were focusing on. Addiction to TV and music to fill all the available

time slots in life.

Delay Tactics:

If someone is convinced of some right doing, try to delay it every time he tries it, and try to make

him forget it.

Grey Areas:

To start with, try to involve people in the things that are a little unclear to be wrong.. Be patient and

keep tempting until they reach to the desired wrong act step by step.

Dilution of Objective:

Make the objective just one step more complicated than what is practically achievable. This can be done using

thoughts like "scale of effort should be huge" etc.

Or try to make scope a little less than required to achieve the goals to introduce a flaw(s) that can be

watered to become a tree at a later stage.

Context Switching:

Try to switch the context as soon as someone is trying to do something useful (portray something else to be

more important) One may start feeling congested and eventually might not do anything at all.

"Its a big thing for Allah that you say something and don't do it"
