"Author/Illustrator & Entertainer Vuthy "Woody" Kuon visited Anderson Academy's Third Grade students Friday, November 19, 2010. The program was sponsored by the 2010 Library special programming. Mr. Kuon presented his "Million Faces of Humpty" program & created a one-of-a-kind Humpty Dumpty illustration based on suggestions from our Third Graders. This original work of art will be on display in Anderson Academy's library.
All of Anderson's Third Graders will be invited to become authors this school year in a continuing program with Mr. Kuon's company, Every child an author. Mrs. Denise Carter, Mrs. Melissa Rock, the Third Grade teachers & students will work together to author a book entitled Anderson's All STARR Adventures. A book release and signing party will be held near the end of the school year. We can't wait!"
