Spaghetti Dinner

Ellen Kiley, chair | whhsbpo+vicepresident@gmail.com

The WHHSBPO holds a spaghetti dinner at the high school each spring, on a Saturday during the high school musical run. Parents and band members are expected to volunteer. Sign up on the Volunteers tab.

  • Date: April 25, 2015, from 3:30 to 7:30 pm.

    • Sale price/profit: Tickets cost $7 (adults), $5 (students), and take-out is available. All profits from ticket sales go to the WHHSBPO general fund.

Ruby Grant, Easter sale chair | rubymgrant@verizon.net

  • Frequency/dates: Twice annually, before Christmas and Easter

    • Sale price/profit: Sale prices vary per item. Student profit range is 25%-30%, minus 10% for the WHHSBPO general fund.

    • Order form: Request paper order forms and catalogs from the chairperson.

The Easter holiday sale runs from Jan. 20 to Feb. 19, 2015. Order pickup is March 19 from 5-6 pm in the WHHS cafeteria.

  • Checks should be made out to WHHSBPO, with your student's name and “Sarris Candy” written on the memo line.

  • Both copies of the completed Master Sheets, with payment enclosed in a sealed envelope, are due to Mr. Crone by 10/22.

  • Keep the actual order form so you know who ordered what when it comes time to make deliveries.

Customers can also order online:

  1. Visit www.sarriscandiesfundraising.com and choose a "Start Shopping" category.

  2. In the window that pops up, type 10-1251 in the Group ID# field.

  3. Type the selling student's name in the Seller's Name field so the student gets credit for the sale.

The customer pays online, so no need to worry about collecting money or making deliveries out of town. Please note, there is a shipping charge added to the order. Do not report online orders on your paper Master Sheet!

Ninth Annual Spaghetti Dinner (April 25, 2015)

Help out with the spaghetti dinner by donating food and/or signing up to work a shift on April 25. We need adult volunteers and students to serve our guests. Shifts are about 3 hours long and begin as early as noon. The last shift ends around 8 pm. Contact Ellen Kiley with any questions.

Volunteer to donate food

Deliver perishables and nonperishables the morning or afternoon of April 25. If you'd like to deliver nonperishables earlier, contact Ellen Kiley to make arrangements.

If you would prefer to make a donation of $10 in lieu of donating food items, please mail your donation to: Eileen Letson, 507 Braddock Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15221, or give it to her at the April 1 WHHSBPO meeting.

Volunteer to work a shift (you can also volunteer your kids!)
