Thinking Routines Infographic

Blogging (online journaling) stands out as an excellent way for students to make their thinking visible. Blogs provide a form of journaling that gives students a larger audience from small groups to the whole class to the grade level or to the full Internet depending on what parameters you as the teacher set. Blogs provide an excellent platform for supporting blended learning especially when using the thinking routines to prompt student thinking inside and outside of the classroom. By using the built in comment feature to blogs, students can connect to one another continuing the conversation and the learning outside of class.

The following is an interesting infographic about blogs and the thinking routines. It was created by Silvia Rosenthal Tolisana, a leader in the field of educational technology, who writes at Lanwitches Blog.
