There is a Tutoring binder available in the Guidance office for students and/or parents/guardians to go through should they wish to hire a tutoring service or agency. The binder is simply a collection of flyers dropped off by community individuals and/or organziations. The binder is extensive but the info may be out of date or incorrect. Students and/or parents/guardians are welcome to look through the binder as a resource at anytime.
Please note! Westmount DOES NOT endorse or recommend ANY tutoring service or agency. Students and parents should investigate thoroughly before hiring a tutoring service or agency. Westmount accepts no responsibility for the reputation or academic outcome when hiring a tutoring service or agency. Westmount encourages students to work with their teacher by taking advantage of extra help and in-school tutoring before obtaining the services of a tutoring service or agency.
Are you a Westmount student and you would like to become a Peer Tutor?
Westmount needs grade 11 and 12 students who can peer tutor students in one or more subjects. Community hours and letters of reference will be avaible for students who qualify. If you are interested in Peer Tutoring please see Mrs. Srulovicz in the Guidance Office.
