Offseason

At a minimum all varsity skiers are expected to remain aerobically active throughout the offseason in an effort to maintain and build their endurance base for the following season. The season is only 3 months long which is not enough time to build that base so it is necessary to come into the season with a base they can build off of. Those looking to really compete need to roller ski.

There are many options with outside organizations for those looking to roller ski. The team will also have some workouts for those who aren't looking to make the jump to a club.

Skiers are made in the summer. It is strongly suggested that all levels of skier stay in shape through the offseason, including over summer vacation.
