Congratulations to Von Stars, Colette Conway, Hazel Galvan, Malia Gehrenbeck & Mohammed Chisti, who participated in the Illinois Junior Academy of Science State Science Fair which took place May 13th - May 14th at Millikin University in Decatur, IL.
Congratulations to Von Stars, Colette Conway, Hazel Galvan, Malia Gehrenbeck & Mohammed Chisti, who participated in the Illinois Junior Academy of Science State Science Fair which took place May 13th - May 14th at Millikin University in Decatur, IL.
- Hazel Rose received Gold in both the Paper and Poster sessions with her project "Polyaniline Synthesis."
- Colette received Gold in the Paper session with her project "What Fabric Moves the Fastest Through Water?."
- Malia received Gold in the Poster session with her project "Dissolution Time of Enteric Aspirin Brands."
- Chisti received Gold in the Poster session for his project "Wind Power: Greener Future."
- Chisti also won the American Nuclear Society, Chicago Section special award.
Unfortunately this year ISEF and IJAS overlapped so Erika Anderson was unable to attend the State Science Fair for her project "Poop to Power."
