Well, the project is coming along, slowly but surely.
I had seen InsideAirbnb but not really explored it before this week. I had the chance to do that now, and that site is awesome. It's probably basically going to be the model for our project, not to mention it lists some articles and relevant papers that are a great point to start researching it. And the data it displays is pretty compelling evidence that there's a problem with too many apartments in Venice that only house temporary visitors. I have done a lot of reading this week, and that site is still the best straightforward data display I have found.
We have also been working on writing the first couple of sections of our paper. There has been a lot of outlining and drafting done over last weekend. Our next PQP meeting is tomorrow, we will be able to talk to Prof. Carrera in person, and meet Tomaso, the tech help. We're definitely going to need Tomaso's expertise.
