Comune di Venezia - Census Data 1971 - 1981

Based on data provided by the Comune di Venezia (statistics office) we have been able to recreate Census Maps from 1981 and 1971 and correlate the census data given to us from 1981 and 1971 to their corresponding maps. Both maps had to be re-created from the 2001 census map we previously had in our possession. Since there are hundreds more sections (around 550) in 2001 and only 153 sections in 1981 and 139 sections in 1971, the main challenge was combining the newest sections to represent what the older sections looked like. We did some by hand while others were done using computer science functions. Below one can see the final products... The key represents how many people live in that section.
