NOTEBOOK: What type of Notebook Should I Get?
Lab Notebook Printing - via UT Box Widget
Lab Hours: See UNIFIED schedule for lab times
Fall, Spring:
During Week 9am - 10pm.
No researchers in lab outside these hours without a mentor unless they have done the procedure before and have approval by Dr. B. Then you must have, at least, another equally trained researcher with you. (And must have FF205)
- Must know the emergency procedures
- tbd: make emergency procedures checklist
On the Weekends:
- must have a mentor present at all times (FRI or ARI mentor is ok)
- weekend work is usually restricted to procedures that you have done before because there is less mentor support

COVID Proactive Community Testings (PCT) results for students and mentors (only readable by Dr. B)
- for those doing wet lab work - we are requiring a negative COVID-19 test result be submitted every 2 weeks.
- Drop-in or make an appointment via University Health Services (links to an external site) (UHS) or another approved COVID-19 testing facility.
- please submit your results as PDF, PNG, or whatever to this UTBox widget. You can remove any sensitive personal info. Dr. B only needs to see confirmation of positive or negative test result.
Link to the safety protocols to follow if you are positive, and this link about what to do after your isolation is over.
Also if your test wasn't run at UT, you need to inform UT of your positive status here. You should also contact Student Emergency Services. They will contact all your instructors informing them that will be absent due to an emergency without giving specifics and that they should give you extensions/accommodations/etc.
