UTS Kung Fu Club’s Mission
"UTS Jing Wu Kung Fu Club brings young Australian people together to expose them to the world of Kung Fu and their participation in community life. The mission is to enhance self-confidence, develop team skills as well promoting spirit of community and multiculturalism."
UTS Kung Fu Club’s objective is to:
1. To foster the physical, moral and intellectual development of our members and to promote and preserve all traditional martial arts styles and their attendant philosophies and values.
2. To foster the theoretical and practical study of the cultural, artistic and sportive aspects of traditional chinese martial arts and to encourage the propagation of such matters.
3. To promote mutual understanding and the development of cultural and sporting activities among the people of Australia, and to promote cohesion within Australia society.
4. To cultivate an awareness within Australian society of traditional martial arts and physical culture.
5. To encourage and foster the broad-based social climate necessary for public participation in traditional martial arts.
6. To practice virtues of wisdom, benevolence and encourage and to cultivate talents to serve the nation and society.
