Triple Quadrupoles are used for Targeted Analysis. Targeted Analysis requires a method to be set up for each individual analyte.
The initial setup fee is $350 for the first 4 hours. That should be sufficient to look at 2 or 3 straightforward compounds. There may be extra charges for more complex methods.
Running samples (instrument time) is charged at $60/hour. The number of samples that can be run in an hour varies greatly, but typically will be somewhere between 5 and 10.
As of November 1st, the Drug Dynamics Institute (Part of the College of Pharmacy) will be responsible for scheduling and billing for this instrument. The instrument itself will be remaining in WEL 4.226.
