I took the IMPLICIT Test
Recognizing White and Black faces showed a moderate preference for White faces over Black faces. This is similar to my taking the test previously. I can attribute this to being raised in a biracial household where the dominate white culture was the norm. We did not explore our Black heritage.
I also took the IMPLICIT Gender-Career Test
I think this represents just how ingrained imprinting really is. I was raised in a traditional family experience where my father worked and my mother
raised the children and did not work. Even though I consider myself a single, salaried, and independent woman, I still maintain those original tendencies.Â
