Among all of the programs that the UCSD abroad office offers, the University of Commerce Luigi Bocconi is one of the hardest programs to get accepted to. For the 2008-09 school year there were only 4 spots available, and for the 2009-10 school year there was an increase to 6 spots. There were about 40 students who applied for 2009-10, so it is very competitive. I recommend having a back up plan (program) if you really want to go abroad. Also make sure this is your top choice, because once a spot is selected they can't change it and give it to another person, so have consideration for your peers. However it does vary year to year.
