Flow Cytometry Analyzers

Sample Acquisition by academic trained users

Cell Sorting

Academics price:

• • • $70/hour (for the first 40-hour sorting)

    • $40/hour (after the first 40-hour sorting)

Industry price: 

• • $150/hour

  • No fees for presorting consultation, instrument setup [at least an hour for aseptic sort], laser warm-up and instrument shutdown processes of the sorting. Fee only applies to the actual cell sorting process from when your tube is loaded till when the sorting is done.

  • Late fee: Please note that extra late charges will apply at $55/hour for users who are more than 1 hour late for their scheduled cell sorting (i.e., $110 for being 2-hour late).

Immunophenotyping Services

• • We also provide antibodies and reagents for these panels at a charge of $20 per panel per sample if you do not want to purchase your own antibodies.

  • The hourly rate for instrument/technician time involving sample processing, acquisition on the instrument and data analysis is $70/hour.

Fluorescence Microscopy

Training

For LSRFortessa, Cytoflex LX or FACSCanto-II, training for users completely new to flow cytometry includes two separate sessions: 1) 2-hour lecture; 2) 2-hours hands-on supervised sample acquisition.  For those familiar with flow cytometry, there is a single training session consisting of 0.5 hour overview of the background followed by 1.5hr hands-on supervised sample acquisition.

Training fee is as following:

For all trainees, we will assist you until you are completely comfortable working on your own.
