Summary
Summary
SG-1 rescue a group of humans from Tollan, a planet devastated by volcanic activity.
Their leader, Omoc, is ungrateful and dismisses human society as primitive. He refuses to answer any questions about his planet's highly advanced technology, Daniel speculates they are more advanced because their planet had no equivalent of the Dark Ages on Earth.
Sam meanwhile gets friendly with Narim, and he explains that the destruction of his planet was caused because they shared their technology with a neighbouring planet, who used it not as it was intended but for weapons.
Colonel Maybourne of the NID is very interested in the Tollans, SG-1 have up to come up with a situation that suits everyone, maybe some old friends can help?
