Summary
Summary
Teal'c reveals he still has a family on Chulak, a wife and his son Ry'ac. He wants to return to Chulak and stop his son receiving his first Prim'ta, a larval Goa'uld.
Hammond agrees to the mission but SG-1 must also bring back one of the Goa'uld to study.
On Chulak they first meet Bra'tac, Teal'c's mentor.
The implantation ceremony is stopped in time, the priest and symbiote are killed but SG-1 discover that Ry'ac is already ill and his only hope of survival is to be implanted with a symbiote.
Meanwhile Daniel and Sam find a temple and a tank of immature symbiotes, they take one, and Daniel vents his rage on the remaining ones, killing them so they will not take another life as they took Sha're's.
Teal'c gives his own symbiote to Ry'ac to save him, but without his own symbiote he too will die.
