Summary
The usefulness of the expensive Stargate programme is questioned by the Secretary of defence, he feels there is nothing to show for it, especially useful technology to help defeat the Goa'uld.
Teal'c suggests visiting P3X774, a planet which has a legendary invisible creature.
SG-1 are not the only one's interested in the creature, Apophis is also on the planet, his Jaffa attack and kill SG-1. They are revived by the Nox, a seemingly primitive and naive race of woodland dwelling folk.
Jack's attempts to defend and arm them are dismissed, but how can he protect them from the Goa'uld threat?
But the Nox have a few surprises up their sleeves!
