Main tasks

Main aim of the Center:

Research and assistance in local initiatives, facilitating of foreign economic and investment activities, development of cross-border cooperation carried out by local authorities, non-governmental organizations, enterprises, individuals in the frame of programs and projects assigned to promote sustainable social-economic development of the Ukrainian-Slovak region, ensuring and protection of common interests for members of the organization.

Main tasks of the Center:

• Initiation and elaboration of projects, oriented to develop border, transport, tourism, municipal and ecological infrastructure, also youth and sport, cultural and ethnic centers, realization of development strategies of the Ukrainian-Slovak Cross-border region on their basis;

• Improvement of information supply systems in self-government development;

• Establishment of more advanced study and estimation of the internal natural, economic, scientific and labour potential of the region;

• Promotion of upbringing next generation of experts in regional development, cross-border cooperation and European integration, including involvement of foreign experts, experience exchange and publication of joint informational publications;

• Informing of interested institutions, organizations, agencies and the public about its own activities;

• Arrangement of conferences, symposiums and other cultural public events;

• Fulfillment and protection of other legal social, economic, national, cultural, and other rights and interests of its members;

• Management of other activities that are in accordance with the aim and tasks of the Center and do not contradict to the Ukrainian law.
