Partnerships

Collaboration with STEM industry and higher education Partners is a critical component in the success of Tuxedo STEM Academy. Partners will provide advice and guidance on program elements and will collaborate with and provide internship opportunities for Academy students. Partners will participate in Partner Advisory Councils to provide ongoing feedback to The Tuxedo STEM Academy. The directors of The Academy serve as liaisons to Partners to facilitate communication and coordinate Academy – Partner activities. The Tuxedo STEM Academy is in the process of building a network of partnerships. These partnerships are meant to demonstrate the inclusiveness of the program, as well as ensure broad participation by organizations and individuals who will bring expertise in one or more areas related to the STEM areas of study. In addition, Tuxedo STEM Academy has been working closely with local teachers and administrative union personnel to align the skills of the workforce with the demands of the school.
