Eagle Projects
The most important part of becoming an Eagle Scout. These projects often take months of planning and the criteria is strict yet laid out.
Sean Sawaya Eagle Project
Sean Sawaya built "Preschool Easels" that hold up a plastic screen preschoolers can paint for enrichment.
Jackson Niemann Eagle Project
Jackson built planter boxes. He built a few normal ones but also some to accommodate a wheelchair-bound person.
Summer Camp
Summer camps are a great way for scouts to earn merit badges. Most merit badges can be done in a single summer camp, however, few need prerequisites and some are better done one-on-one with a counselor.
Camp Wente '23
Camp Wente encompasses more land than you can see and they use this to make a complicated series of orienteering courses called the "Caliama." They also own a large lake which have the benefits of many water-based merit badges.
Camp Royaneh '24
Camp Royaneh has a unique experience known as Challenging Outdoor Personal Experiences or COPE for short. COPE allows for experienced scouts to have a more unique and fun time at camp.
High Adventure Outings
These Campouts are usually very physically and mentally challenging for all in attendance. These take around a week to complete. Often, these campouts help strengthen the bonds of all in attendance.
Shasta Canoe trip July '23
This weeklong trip had many scouts canoe around Shasta Lake. It was very enjoyable for all the scouts in attendance. It took almost a week to finish.
Mammoth backpacking July '24
A long backpacking trip that took a few trips to ensure the scouts were prepared for the full thing. It took a week to complete and the views were incredible.
