About the Club

History

Treaty Gaels is a Camogie Club serving the Southside of Limerick City in the areas covered by GAA clubs St Patrick's, Claughan, Old Christians and Ballinacurra Gaels.

It was founded in June 2008 following work by the Camogie Association Games Development Officer Deirdre Murphy in city schools. Over 130 girls attended an initial Fun Day held at Old Christians GAA Club and since then membership of the new club has risen consistently and the now Club fields teams at U8, U10, U12, U14, U16, Minor and Junior Level.

In the last few years we have won our first trophies at county level. Players from the club have played on County Teams at U12, U14, U15, U16, Minor and Junior Level.
