Poster presentations are an important part of the program and we encourage you to apply to present your work in our poster session!

The poster session will take place during the evening reception on Tuesday, July 11 and provide attendees the opportunity to engage with authors on important topics.

Poster Proposal Submission:

• Poster proposals are due on March 1.

• Each proposal will be evaluated through a competitive peer review process. Authors will be notified of poster acceptance for presentation approximately by April 14.

• The presenting author will be able to register at a reduced fee, posted on the ARTS23 that will be available when the registration website opens.

Each poster proposal should include an extended abstract (500 to 1000 words) describing the poster’s contents and should present a discrete and completed research or implementation project, akin to what would be published in an academic journal article or presented in a TRB poster session. Each abstract should include a discussion of the following:

• The relevance of the content to automated road transportation

• Status of work being reported (i.e., Proposal stage; In Progress; Completed; etc.)

• The purpose of the work being reported

• The methodology used

• Key findings from the work and their significance for the implementation of automated road transportation systems.

Please note, commercial promotions will not be accepted.

Poster proposals will be evaluated based on:

• Relevance of contents to road vehicle automation (most important)

• Significance of topic (i.e., timeliness and likely level of interest to audience)

• Technical correctness and depth of understanding

• Clarity of description

• Avoidance of commercialism

Message from the CORVA Chair:

Breakout Proposal Update!  We have a new automated system for collecting proposals - please use this link instead of the Word file!  You will have an opportunity to revise your proposal after the CORVA meeting (before the 3 February submittal deadline) but it really helps us prepare for the meeting if we have your ideas in advance.

And don't forget to join us at the TRB CORVA meeting (ACP30(1)) as we launch planning for ARTS23:
