He visited all the 193 independent countries of the UN and all 7 continents, 325/330 countries and territories on the Travelers' Century Club list, 1 209/1 500 countries and territories on the MTP list, more than 1 000/1 301 regions on the NomadMania list and 580/1 199 UNESCO World Heritage Site.

I grew up in India & traveled within India prior to 1974 when I took my first overseas trip to Singapore & Malaysia. In 1977 I immigrated to USA and became the first Indian to plant an Indian flag at the North Pole on April 23 1985 after visiting Antarctica in January 1985 & literally going around the globe five times. Later I became a US citizen & the last countries I visited were South Sudan & Libya by February 2012. I have visited 326 of 330 places on the Travelers Century Club list. 

I am Professor Emeritus of Psychiatry, Distinguished Life Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association, Honorary Fellow of the International Academy of Law & Mental Health, Representative of Illinois to the Assembly of the American Psychiatric Association and Secretary of the Section on Quality Assurance of the World Psychiatric Association. I continue to be active presenting around the world and publishing.
