Today 4/2/2013, my friends, at 12:55 pm, Elisha had the ultimate victory over her battle with cancer. She is now walking, singing, praising the Lord; and is cancer free and pain free. Read more...........
Elisha, when she was just 29, was diagnosed with stage IIIc breast cancer (invasive ductal carcinoma) on November 9, 2011. She has had a double mastectomy, chemo, and radiation. After many trials, we all thought the coast was clear. We learned, last week (Dec. 2012) that she now has brain mets. Which means that the breast cancer has "metastisized" (spread) to the brain. (hence, mets)
Our prayer is for COMPLETE and total healing. I know that this is asking for a miracle. But, I do believe that God is still in the miracle working business. We are also standing on Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future." He has great plans for Elisha! She is reaching many with her blog, that I encourage you to follow. She is a great writer. :)
She has been an open book, with the hopes that others may be blessed by her story. What you are reading now is being wrote by her sister, and I am not the writer she is, so hang in there with me! ;o)
