Students have completed their research reports on an assigned celestial body in the Milky Way. This we they will work in small groups to prepare a presentation designed to teach others about their celestial body. They must include the following information:
-size, relative size, and position
-rotation and revolution (How long is a day and a year?)
-Appearance and geology (What does it look like and what is it made of?)
-Atmosphere and moons
-How the body was named and a myth or legend about it
Students have creative license on how to present their information. They may use google slides, a skit, song or rap, posters and/or models. The project is due Monday, October 12th. Presentations to the class will take place next week. We will have an evening presentation for parents on Thursday evening October 22 from 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm. All parents are welcome to attend.
