So these cats need to know who is boss. I don't think it's me!

The cat on the left was in the front room, I found the cat on the right up the stairs. Jinx was waiting. The one on the lrft came into the kitchen and demonstrated a poo, the other one was waiting outside the kitchen door after not wanting to come downstairs. They are all in the kitchen and that is where they will stay for the night. I presume they are play fighting? One of them just climbed into the food basket and opened the Tupperware box.

I don't think that life prepared me for rooting out cat poo but this is now my bag. All cats fed. the other cat has demonstrated their toilet skills. The one with the white stripe is a lot more forward and has been stroked. The other one is more timid and does a Monty if I get to close. Jinx just does her thing.

I think I have slept as much as the kittens today. We spent a good three hours in the front room. Milo chasing a fly. He spends a lot of time under the bed in the front room and is still nervous if I approach him. All in all no problems.

Jinx was having a staring competition with another cat who also appeared on Will's window cill last night. The kittens are amusing

It has been raining all day, some heatwave.

Milo is so keen to play with any dangling piece of string that he will approach very close not realising that he is supposed to be frightened, this is when I pounce for a stroke.

In terms of cat litter please confirm: Do I put the soiled stuff in a white bin bag or a black bin bag?

inx doesn't hang around and wants out as soon as I can open the door. The small ones expend a lot of energy chasing each other \nd fighting. Cat poo stinks!

1740 It has been a quiet day for cats and Tim, I am still getting up at work time which is 0530. So later in the day I fall asleep and so do the cats.

They enjoy their fights and they look realistic but no blood has been drawn. After it stopped raining eventually I wandered into town and have spotted pyjamas. That means I have seen them not bought them. I had to exchange a pint at Wetherspoons and that completely knocked me out for the afternoon.

So Milo take an empty Doritos packet from the bin in the front room takes it into the hall and plays with it, using Mike's boot as an obstacle

Head count = 3

Poo, water, feed. That could be my routine but it doubles for the cats.The bowls were empty this morning so I have got the quantity right. Straight after breakfast Milo is of to the Dorito bags and Jinx is out the door.

I am now just a doormat for George and Mildred, if I am in the way they will walk over me. They realise why I am here. All cats safely squared away.

Where do cats learn what to do or is it in their DNA?

They have had some exciting fighting today, so much so that I gave them both yellow cards and they were put in solitary for an hour.They are acquiescent now. I have moved the brown bin to the front and the food waste.

I have never heard Jinx make such an unusual noise at the sight of Bella approaching the rear window. It was quite unnerving.
