Notice: The regular monthly meeting of the PLPOA Board for April has been moved to Tuesday, March 24, at 7:00 due to scheduling conflicts. All meetings take place in the Clubhouse, 24 David Lane.
Members in good standing are always welcome to attend meetings.

Spring 2026:
The Board received notification from the DEC that they have decided to restore the upper lake dam! Thank you to all who advocated and let the DEC know how important the upper lake is to our community!!
Associa has a new address for dues payments: PLPOA c/o Associa, PO Box 61923, Phoenix, AZ 85082. Checks should be made out to PLPOA and your community address and/or account number should be on the check. This address should be used for any 'catch up' payments as well as dues payments for 2026 (due in full by July 1). Annual dues are set at the May membership meeting.

The community has a new plowing company, Lehigh Lanscaping. Please contact Road Chair John Canevari at canevari@gmail.com if you have any questions about plowing this winter. Please do your part to ensure our community roads are clear and safe.

always clear snow from driveway plowing/shoveling off the road.
🐕🦺 There have been numerous complaints and concerns about dogs roaming loose in the neighborhood. In accordance with PLPOA bylaws and Dover and Beekman regulations, all dogs must be fenced or leashed when outside.
If you have any concerns about a roaming dog, document the concerning behavior and speak directly with the pet's owner and/or contact your town's Animal Control Officer:

To report any animal neglect, cruelty or abandonment issues, please call the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office at 845-486-3800.
For all other animal related calls (other than dogs) in Dutchess County, you can call the Dutchess County SPCA at (845) 452-7722.
To report a dead animal on the road, an injured bird, a lost baby squirrel, a dangerous bear, or other wildlife, you may call one of the following government animal services Dutchess County Animal Services (845) 451-4139 New York Wildlife Commission (518) 402-8920 NYS Department of Environmental Conservation (845) 256-3000.

The Association's Annual Budget was passed at the Annual Meeting on May 4, 2025. Thank you to all of the community members who came to the meeting.
The dues are now $1600 for a developed property and $800 for an undeveloped property.
Dues "Coupons"/Invoices are being sent by Associa in the second week of June. If you don't receive an invoice, please contact Associa directly at 845-473-3711.
To avoid late fees, payments should be received by Associa by July 1.

Make checks out to Pawling Lake Property Owners Association. Your address within the community and/or your account number must be written on the check.

Please remember the speed limit on our roads is 20 MPH - drive carefully and be considerate of people and animals using the roads.
Please only fish off the shore to the left of the main dock and recover and remove all fish hooks, lures, fishing line, etc. so swimmers don't step on them!
Monthly Association Meetings are held on the 3rd Tuesday of each month in the clubhouse. All PLPOA members in good standing are welcome to attend.

The Pawling Lake Property Owners' Association is located on West Mountain in the Harlem Valley section of New York State. Our home owners association is comprised of over 130 homes with full-time and part-time residents. Our community is nestled in West Mountain State Park and has a private lake, community house, and recreation area.
