John Robert Ophelia Euphrosyne William Olivier Plantagenant
Benjamin ROZZELL appears firstly as a Hosiery Worker then later as a Clerk in the various census’s of England.
Benjamin married Elizabeth on 30th September 1817 at St Martins, Leicester, Leicestershire, England.
Thanks to Google Books I have found Benjamin mentioned in two historical documents.
One was a poll for electing Burgesses for the borough of Leicester on 12th and 13th December 1832- Benjamin can be found on page 36, the extract states he was living in Bridge Street and his occupation is listed as a Hosiery.
In the second mention I found, it has him in Newarke Street, he is listed as a Stock and Share Broker in a History,Gazetteer and Directory of the Counties of Leicestershire and Rutland in 1846.
John Robert died at the very early age of 17 years, in 1835. I do not know if he was educated like his sisters, if he had a vocation.
His daughters appear to be well educated. Euphrosyne at a school in Sutton Bonnington.
Ophelia was, according to family traditions a Poet of some repute, I have found her published in 1873 in the Leicester Chronicle.I have also found her uncle Charles ROZZELL published poetry before his early death in 1792.
Euphrosyne’s youngest brother William Oliver (Olliver, Olivier) Plantaganant moved to London and was a wood engraver, draughtsman. He had a wife Sarah (nee WILCOCK) and at least two children - a boy and a girl.
Benjamin died in 1863 in Leicester and Elizabeth also died in Leicester in 1859
