If you love hanging your favourite photographs and artwork around the home, and you haven’t yet checked out the Gallery System, I suggest you make it your New Year’s resolution!
I can’t believe there are still people out there using the old hammer and nail method, because this is just the best. It’s not new – professional galleries, museums and public buildings have been using it for years. But it is now available and affordable for use at home and in the office.
Believe it or not there are just three components: the track, the gallery system hangers and the gallery system adjustable hooks. That’s it – unless you want to add a lighting system, which is also remarkably simple.
Gallery System Hangers
The track is neatly screwed to the wall, up near the ceiling, which means you won’t be filling in multiple holes in the plaster-work when you move. The screw system is also much stronger and more secure than using hooks and nails.
Like the track, the hangers are available in different finishes to suit your taste and match your interior. The most popular choices for the hangers are clear or stainless steel cable. These simply slide onto your track ready for use.
Next come the gallery system adjustable hooks; these come in push-button or Allen key form so, again, they are very easy to use. This is a real bonus for those whose hands aren’t as strong or nimble as they used to be.
Gallery System Adjustable Hooks
Once installed, you simply slide the hangers and hooks into the right position to accommodate your pictures. Changing your display around is easy, so you can do it as often as you wish without damaging your walls.
Now you can line up your pictures perfectly and make minor adjustments with the press of a button. If you need more hanging space, you can simply buy extra gallery system hangers and hooks. And if you still need convincing, you can even buy a sample pack and then claim back the cost with your first order!
