A Very Rare Cummins 5BT Camshaft
If Cummins ever make a 5BT motor, this will come in handy as a spare.
It's what happens when a bit of sealant clogs the No. 6 piston oil cooling jet and the conrod departs in two directions at once to atmosphere.
We did find the other two lobes in the sump during the stripdown.
At least the drive gear is usable.
The moral of the story is: Don't use silicon sealant to 'help' the gaskets. It is not required.
