The middle weekend of March arrived with cold weather; rain, sleet and most other options. The plan was to bring the motor from Dawn Huntress down to the test bed to take the opportunity to get a full power curve from the dynamometer.
The motor duly arrived in the back of a four wheel drive Sprinter, was unloaded with the fork lift and positioned in the workshop ready for preparation.
The next day we set-to to get her loaded on the Dyno ready for testing.

The proceeding became "interesting" due to electrical issues; the arrival of the diesel "bug" and a sudden heavy hail storm, the noise of which on the roof drowned out the sound of the motor on test!.
One interesting point - take a close look at the rpm readout on the computer and compare with the 40 year old cable driven tacho which is driven by the right angle drive unit on the front of the motor...
