The Oseberg Chests project

This year we have decided our main mission project will be to improve on our Viking period chests, so we are planing to make replicas of the

• The Oseberg 178 Chest

• The Oseberg 149 Chest

• And the Oseberg 156 Chest

Problems:

we will be trying our hardest to do them to the original chest measurements

but given that we are in Australia this will pose some problems as we wont be able

to get wood the width that is needed.

And as much as we love to do them in oak our financial restraints wont let us so

they will have to be made in pine

And we will be only doing the all the stud work on the Oseberg 156 Chest
