Playtesting the alpha wave (I playtested the alpha wave quite a bit, I was just enjoying playing the game) revealed that I have quite a bit of work to do to make the waves playable.
Playtesting results
Add <click energy to collect> mechanic to energy module along with the collection field mechanic(allows another stat to be added to energy module - collection field radius)
More fine tuning of the AI logic
Velocity compensator
Reaction logic for firing at its attacker
Make drones initially more durable than enemies
List of drones on the side for easy upgrade
The combat, drone upgrades, and energy allocation mechanics are all too much for the player to keep track of
Add a time-slow/time-stop mechanic for allocating energy and upgrading drones
Add the auto-turret system to help the user do 1 less thing
