New Volunteer Policy adopted at the January 19, 2011 Board of Directors meeting

In an effort to protect our community, the board of directors at their January 2011 monthly meeting adopted a volunteer policy for those wanting to do volunteer work within the road right of ways and any common areas. Such activities could include clearing or mowing, organized garbage collection by groups or individuals, repairing potholes, or other activities that could put people and the association at risk. Due to insurance & liability reasons, anyone performing work in these common areas are asked to submit a Waiver of Liability describing the work to be performed, and the names of the individuals performing the work to be approved by the board prior to the work being done. The policy and form can be found on the website sidebar titled volunteering. The form is a microsoft word documents, so it can be downloaded, filled out, and emailed back to the board for approval, or it can be mailed to the board at P.O. Box 405 Redmond, OR 97756. Everyones cooperation is greatly appreciated in trying to protect our community.
