Andrew Sprung, Principal, has publicized everything from policyholder victories in insurance coverage disputes to Zagat Survey restaurant guides, private equity transactions, and high-end real estate developments, as well as a wide range of technology and ecommerce products and services. Andrew has managed PR campaigns for several products, publications and activities that have obtained sustained national news coverage as well as core trade press coverage. These include the site launch for Investars.com, a investment bank watchdog service; ongoing publicity for FreeMerchant.com, an ecommerce site builder for small businesses; a class action lawsuit on behalf of Holocaust victims denied life insurance benefits by European insurers in the wake of WWII; and publication of investment bank Veronis Suhler's annual Communications Industry Forecast. Andrew, who holds a Ph.D. in English literature from the University of Rochester, has also ghostwritten, edited and placed client articles in publications including the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, USA Today, National Law Journal, John Liner Review, and numerous regional business, legal and insurance publications.


Joy Howell is managing partner of Cambridge Strategic Partners, a Washington, D.C. -based firm providing government relations and public policy strategic services. Sprung PR works in partnership with Cambridge to raise the media profiles of professional services firms, investment research providers and public advocacy groups.

Ms. Howell's expertise encompasses public policy, media, and business strategy. Prior to founding CSP, she directed the Office of Public Affairs of the Federal Communications Commission, Washington, D.C., where she managed timely team response to nearly 40,000 media inquiries per year. Her firm has created winning coalitions, spearheaded mass media campaigns, developed investor relations program for Wall Street analysts, and achieved excellent national media coverage for her clients. In 2000, Ms. Howell served as a Communications Director on the Gore Lieberman Presidential Campaign. Previously, she was Communications Director to U.S. Senator Robert Torricelli (D-NJ). As President of Howell Communications Group, she represented over 100 Fortune 1000 corporations and their trade associations. Ms. Howell holds an MBA from the University of Redlands and an MPA from Harvard's John F. Kennedy School of Government She has been an instructor and guest lecturer at the Kennedy School at Harvard, George Washington University, and the University of Texas.
