Well we did make it to the recovery function in Annette's (the new mother in law) beautiful garden.
For some strange and unexplained reason the new relatives were somewhat hazy about arrangements but at least they seemed to know their address and phone number.
A lovely afternoon was had in the garden with a BBQ and looking at photos and recounting stories of the night before. All agreed it was a beautiful wedding and everyone had a great time. There was some disappointment though as the Deb droopy eyes (DDE) did not make an appearance but may be another day. We understand that it is possible it may happen again ie the DDE.
Having said farewells and made tentative plans for catching up in Oz when next they visit which is every couple of years we headed back to Fredensborg.
Another strange feature of EF land (for some people back home who will remain nameless K&K , ":EF" stands for ErkinFirfin land which is the Australian phonetic pronunciation of Denmark when spoken by a Dane), but back to the strange feature - although it still may still be light at 10pm food shops close before this on a Sunday in EF Land.
As there were no shops we thought we would wander up to Fred and Mary's place, as their lights were still on, but those bloody pesky chaps with the poofy big hats were still hanging around so we gave that a miss.
So we went without dinner last night but no need to worry we don't think we will be anorexic as a result.
So today we pack our bags and head back to Copenhagen for two days. The are some museums, churches, gardens and statues yet to be seen and photographed and that will keep us busy till Wed and then off to the little green island just to the left of good old mother england.
Whilst in Copenhagen Deb has seen a large and stylish department store and feels in dire need of some therapy - I suspect it is a professional medical development need and I think it is great that she wants to keep her professional skills up to date even though on holidays. Truly dedicated is our Deb.
We hear that it is wet and cold back there so we will stay here then! (just practicing some Irish logic) .
We also hear that Manny the 8kg cat has decided that its time to be nice to other people - so much for loyalty but we do understand what it is like to go without food and if you have to be nice then be nice it is. Sorry Kel but he is male, a cat and always hungry besides he was probably fearing a trip to your place after Meg told him there is no escape route out..
Anyway time to pack and get on the road, hope the weather starts to improve and we will be in contact at the next food and drink stop!!

Hi Deb & Terry,
Well, you guys have just been doing so much, great to see the (wedding) Castle and all the proceedings, look just beautiful just like a fairy tale.
Must say old boy you brushed up just fine, sorry we did’nt see how lovely Deb looked this must have been due to her photography role, and what a great job she has done. Sounds like the day went off extremely well, no major problems.
The week has just disappeared her in down town Sydney it must be the same for you, but seems you are making the best of all the sights, shopping, food etc.
All is fine with me, had a quick visit from Ray (brother-in-law) last night, he came down early to visit a work colleague at St Vincent Hosp, we managed to wander down to the Japanese rest and had a delightful meal.
Not must more going on all good, on the home front, enjoy Copenhagan, look forward to your next email.
Luv Chris
