Unique 'TERRY’tory
Sometimes someone comes along
And almost straight away
This person leaves a mark on you
Just why it’s hard to say.
You try and put your finger on
The traits that make them so
But TERRY is the kind of guy
That people want to know.
He’s caring and he’s giving
He’s compassionate and strong
And no matter what your point of view
He’d never say you’re wrong.
Any time he spent with you
Was always well worth while
Having fun was guaranteed
He always made you smile
He could rise to all occasions
Or get down in the dirt
He could make you laugh so hard
Sometimes your jaws would hurt.
He could look at things from left to right
Sometimes he’d turn things round
But you knew he had an answer
When his ears went up and down
His gentle way his smooth approach
Was natural, not put on
The world is now a poorer place
We can’t believe you’re gone.
There’s no way to sum you up
Uncle, Brother, Mate
Of all the words that come to mind
We’ll leave it just with GREAT!
Your wisdom and your humour
Stay with us everyday
To celebrate your life with us
We shout “Hip Hip HORRAY!”
