- What in the world are analytics technologies? That is a very good question. In very basic terms analytics technologies changes data into information that is understandable and applicable. Khan Academy is an excellent example. As a student advances through the lessons, the program continually evaluates whether the students need continued work at that level or can progress to the next level. Teacher and parent can view the student's progress as well.
