21st Century Learning

Do you ever feel that your students know more about technology that you do? This is not unusual considering that technology changes in the time that it takes you to read this page. The New Media Consortium writes The Horizon Report in order that educators aware of the technologies to watch in the next five years. The technologies and the estimated time to adoption in education from the 2017 report are as follows:

  • One Year or Less
    • Makerspaces
    • Robotics
  • Two to Three Years
    • Analytics Technologies
    • Virtual Reality
  • Four to Five Years
    • Artificial Intelligence
    • The Internet of Things

You will find in the left navigation bar a sub-page to 21st Century Learning for each of the above technologies. Have fun exploring! What up and coming technology will you try?
