Company matching instructions keep changing. Please notify treasury@sv.team-asha.org if any of the company matching information is out-of-date and needs to be updated.
Companies which have matched Asha donations in the past include:

General Instructions
Company matching can be availed in 2 ways. You need to find out what your company supports.
You can donate to Asha from the runner's runnernet page and then go to your company's matching site or
You can donate directly from your company page, and get it matched as well.
Please include the runnerID of the person you are donating for. This makes it easier for us to associate the runner with the donation.
Some companies have a minimum amount that must be donated for them to match. For example, Intel Corp. does not match donations less than $25. Make sure you know about your company.
Companies may also have a maximum amount they match. For example, Cisco matches up to $1000 per employee.
Detailed Instructions for the following companies
ADOBE
Go to inside adobe site and select Community Involvement in shortcuts (right side bottom) .
In community Involvement Programs, login with your credentials by selecting Matching Gifts Program.
It directs to Easy Match Page.
Fill the form with following information:
For Organization, select Asha for Education, Sunnyvale
Select Check/Cash (event if you donate by Credit Card)
For Gift Date (mm/dd/yyyy), enter the date you donated.
For Purpose, enter " For <Person's name to whom you are donating>, Runner Id: <person's runner id>"
Forward the confirmation email to the runner.

4a. You also have option to donate via Cisco 's internal site and request a match at the
same time.
5. Choose 'General Giving' as campaign.
6. IMPORTANT: Please enter the following in the "Designation" section.

Electronic Arts (EA)
The EA Outreach: Gift Matching Program matches your contributions to charitable causes. Please complete the following simple steps after completing your credit card donation to get your generous contribution matched.
1. Click on the EA Outreach: Gift Matching Program link on https://yourcause.ea.com/
2. Log in with your network credentials.
3. Click on “Give” drop down and select “Record an offline donation”.
4. Enter the donation amount.
5. Enter the donation date.
6. Expand the “Search for an Organization” link.
7. Enter “Asha for Education, Sunnyvale” in the search box and perform the search.
8. Check the box on the right to select the charity.
9. Click on Save organization.
10. Click on Save Donation.
11. Enter the match amount.
12. Attach your donation receipt, that you would have received via email for your credit card donation from Asha for Education.
13. Request for Match.
Please forward the approval email you receive after your match request is approved so that the runner can follow up to get the donation matching recorded and completed with Asha for Education.

You can begin by donating on the runnernet page, and then following these steps.
1. Go to https://www.easymatch.com/google/default.asp
2. Click "Submit a new request" (You must be at work or on VPN)
3. Choose "I have already donated via cash or check" (we have verified that CC's are fine)
4. Click "Search for a Charity". At the search string type "Asha for Education" into the organization field, and Sunnyvale into the City Field. Click Search.
5. Choose the Sunnyvale chapter of Asha for Education
6. Input the date, amount, etc.
* Important: please put the following text into the "Purpose" box:
For Benefit of: <Runner name>, Id: <Runner Id>
7. You will receive an email from EasyMatch in your email account. Please forward this email to the runner

INTEL
You can begin by donating on the runnernet page, and then following these steps.
1. Go to https://www.easymatch.com/intel
2. Click on "Submit New Request"
3. Log in to the page using your WWID & passwd. If you do not have one create a passwd, it shouldn't take long
4. This takes you to Step1: Method of donation. Select the method, its either Cash or Stocks & click "next"
5. This takes you to Step 2: Select a School. Click on "Search for a school"
6. Type exact words "Asha for education - Silicon Valley" in the school name & hit "search". You will get:
Or you can simply search for "Asha" and select/click the correct one from the list.
Select "Asha for Education - Silicon Valley "
7. This will take you to a form. Please complete all the information asked for.
In the "Purpose" field, enter the runnerID of the runner. You can also specify if you like your contribution to go to a specific charity.
8. Once you fill this & confirm. Intel will send you an email to confirm the receipt in 24hrs. Forward this email to the runners, who will hand it over to the fundraising folks.
9. Asha will also get a confirmation
Please note: Intel matches 50% if the donation is $25 or higher, up to a maximum of $10000 per employee

INTUIT
Eligibility: Active regular employees in the United States or Canada who work 20 or more hours per week, or any seasonal employee in the United States or Canada who works 20 or more hours per week and has worked at Intuit for at least six consecutive months. Employees are eligible for $1,000 per fiscal year of matching funds for donation and/or fundraising matches.
Please be advised that due to IRS regulations, a person may not use matching funds towards a minimum pledge obligation with an agency, nor qualify for special gifts or benefits as a result of the matching funds.
You can use the attached paper application form in lieu of the online system.
Intuit employees who donate request a Donation Match
Intuit employees who collect donations from others as part of a fundraising event will request a Fundraising Match for the sum total of all donations received from non-Intuit employees

Intuit Donation Match steps
Using the Online system:
Make your donation as you normally would
Click on Request a Match Online and Login using your Intuit employee i.d.
Click on Submit a Donation Match
You are now at the online form. Fill out the form
Click “here” on the area that says - If the recipient organization is not on this list click here.
In the Name field type in the name or a portion of the name of your organization. To narrow your search, consider choosing the state and then click Find
Click on the organization from the list. If your charity isn’t listed, follow the instructions to add an organization
Once added, follow the website instructions back to the main form
Type in the donation date
Type in the amount of your donation
In the Purpose field, type in anything that you want PRINTED ON THE CHECK. For example: if you are sponsoring someone, you might type in their name and other pertinent information
Click Enter
Review the information and click Confirm
You will receive an e-mail confirming your request
Remember, to lower administrative expenses, matches are paid quarterly. Check Program Guidelines for details
Intuit Fundraising Match steps
Using the Online system:
Collect all your donations first and sort into two categories
Donations from Intuit employees
Donations from non-Intuit employees
You are eligible for the Fundraising Match for the sum total of all donations you collect from non-Intuit employees
Advise Intuit employees to request their own Donation Match (see previous page)
After you have turned in your funds, you can request a match
Click on Request a Match Online
Login
Click on Submit a Fundraising Match
You are now at the online form. Fill out the form
Click “here” on the area that says - If the recipient organization is not on this list click here.
In the Name field type in the name or a portion of the name of your organization. To narrow your search, consider choosing the state and then click Find
Click on the organization from the list. If your charity isn’t listed, follow the instructions to add an organization
Once added, follow the website instructions back to the main form
Type in the date you turned in your funds
Type in the sum total of all money raised from non-Intuit employees
In the Purpose field, type in anything that you want PRINTED ON THE CHECK. For example, consider typing your name or other pertinent information
Click Enter (… keep going there are a few more steps)
Review the information and click Confirm
You will receive an e-mail confirming your request

Select Request Matching for Financial Donation
Click Search for Organization.

Fill in the date, amount and in the purpose field enter the runner ID.
Checks will be sent to the organization approximately eight weeks after the end of each calendar quarter.
To check the status of your request, click Giving History on the left nav of the matching site.

If you have already donated through check or credit card, select cash/check as your Method of Donation (first option) and follow the instructions from there.

3. Once the donation is made, you can view it online and also track if a match was made. All contributions plus match goes to the NPO end of every quarter.
