Week #12: Bringing (Nearly) All the Research Together

Our Agenda for this Session

PART ONE -- 75 minutes

What was due this week? Paper Outline Memo

Groups

1) Review Dr. Carolyn's feedback on your last memo, which was likely Argument/ Claims or Paper Outline Memos. Refine and revise any targeted areas.

2) Work, Section-by-Section, to compose/ revise/ refine/ narrow your writing across the template to meet the page/ word count per identified section: about 1.5-2 pages maximum.

3) Consider what Scenario is best for you to introduce your research study.

5) Fill in Other Sections that did not have a previously assigned memo: about 1/2 - 1 page each as a general rule. Where will you place your Concept Map that we made a couple of weeks back? It's up to you...

6) Reframe your Literature Review into a series of cohesive paragraphs.

PART TWO -- 75 minutes

1) Begin a composition that visually recreates your research study process for an audience. You can use Google Slides, but you may also choose a different platform, such as Piktochart, Adobe Spark, or other. You should make your presentation visually appealing, with a maximum of 20 words per slide/ section. How does this sample research poster below meet these criteria?

2) If you are not able to be present next week, please note your intended absence here on the Google Doc. Thanks! Please be sure to post your final presentation on this Google Doc prior to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, April 18. We'll be reviewing your work together in class, so we can live vicariously through your research.

You can do better than this!
