Hello!
You are ten in a group this year and decided to name the group "Ten Wonders".
Each of you is really a wonder.
On the one hand, I like the name very much. On the other hand, I'm sure there will be much more wonders during the school year.
You are not only WONDERS, but sources of numerous wonders as well.

Today is our 2nd meeting. We are going to:
1) Write a draft of your stories - Tell about yourself.
2) Find out how much you know about the motherland of the English language.
3) Search the web for the answers to the questions about the UK.
Homework:
* Choose a picture of yourself on your computer you want to share with the pupils in Russia.
* When you get your draft back, click on the link below and type your story.
Don't forget to attach your picture.

2) We divided in pairs:
1 - The UK: Eden and Noa Mashiah
2 - England: Guy and Maor
3 - Scotland: Shon and Ohad
4 - Wales: Linoy and Noa Aloni
5 - Northern Ireland: David and Ilia

Slide 1: The name of the country. Background - pictures of interesting / famous places
At the bottom - your names, grade 6, Katzenelson Elementary School, Holon
Slides 2-3: The map of the British Isles, the arrow pointing to the chosen country.
Write where it is situated.
Picture and description of the flag + national emblem
Slides 4-5: Capital city + pictures and short description of interesting places
I'd like you to get acquainted with the song by Irish musicians - "Westlife". The song "You Raise Me Up" was written by Irish duo "Secret Garden".
