Integration of digital knowledge for enhancing classroom communication

Self-motivated and training myself in the use of Adobe Captivate, Articulate Presenter, Articulate Storyline, iSpring Suite, Articulate Quiz maker, ACDSee Studio, Wondershare Filmora, Endnote (Research Reference Software), Mendeley – all used to enhance student experience on online teaching.

Completely managed and uploaded required contents of https://www.pim.ac.in website, created thousands of pages till my retirement from that institution, June 15, 2020.

 Implemented G Suite for Education at Poornaprajna College, Udupi on 22 July 2019, gave the technical support.

 Implemented G Suite at Govinda Dasa College, Surathkal. Provided domain name-based email address to all the faculty and students.

  Administered MGM Website for two years – created many pages using php codes.

  Created MGM College Blog, http://mgmcollegeudupi.blogspot.com/ and updating it till my retirement. It has got thousands of pages of data on MGM College, all the events held at MGM, linked to thousands of photographs, YouTube videos.

 Created and maintained  a blog about Administrative Officer of Academy of General Education, Dr. H. Shantaram, namely comhttp://swapnashilpi.blogspot.com/ It contains all the details of our Administrative Officer, his contributions, Swapnashilpi, the excellent book which was converted into pdf, all the news items available in the net about him. Used to update till my retirement at MGM.

Was managing the B.Com Vocational Course Blog, http://bcomvoc.blogspot.com/, intended to attract quality students to B.Com Vocational Course till my retirement at MGM.

  Microsoft word, its reference styles, macros, cross reference, index, special features required by a teacher and researcher.

 Working knowledge of flash, movie editor, Photoshop, Endnote Software, Grammarly, Turnitin– all are used only for teaching and research.

Got training from Paddy Gant of United Kingdom (PHD Computer Consultants Limited) in making Conference CD. Conference-CD is a turn-key system for gathering together conference presentations and getting them quickly and simply onto CD. Prepared Conference CD by using the software developed by PHD Consultants.

 Trained many colleagues in using Sound Forge, initiated Digital Record of all the proceeding of MGM and the institutions wherever I served.

 Enjoyed in teaching of computer basics to many faculty and students

Good knowledge of Adobe Professional, Adobe Screen Shot, Abby Fine Reader 9, OCR Conversion, Snag It, Photo Plus, Web Copier, MP3 Direct Cut, Adobe, EndnoteX9, and video editing. This knowledge is shared and used only for enhancing the knowledge of my students, which they use during Vocational Seminar. Such initiatives are also continued at PIM, till my retirement.

  Helping the faculty in Income Tax Calculation, online filing of tax, Distribution of Arrears of Salary, pension related issues, etc.
