"Laugh and the world laughs with you! Cry and you cry alone!" In our case this is not quite true. Where possible we have come together to provide support, whether it be through SICAG, SOB or both. Indeed, for anyone that still needs support, these are the places that will provide some for you.
If I were to include victims' stories on this site, I would need a data base the size of NASA's. However, I have and will continue to include stories where people have suffered at the hands of these banks in order to illustrate a particular point.
As I have already stated, this site is not intended by me as a support site but rather an information site, and a means whereby we can get our message out to the general public.
For too long, there has been a perception among the public at large that the people that invested in the share market using the services of Storm Financial were money grubbing individuals that were willing to gamble. Nothing could be further from the truth. At least 75% of them were people that had retired after working hard all their lives and merely wanted a safe haven for their life savings. Somewhere that would ensure growth on their capital long term. Do they sound like gambling folks to you?
The bad guys in this scenario are the banks and Storm Financial who seized on an opportunity to use their Storm customers' assets for their own end. I believe it's known as 'unconscionable conduct' among other things, but we'll leave that for the courts to decide. I have a few choice words for what these banks and Storm did, but I'll leave it to your imagination to work out what these are! FUBAR springs readily to mind.
