Mr James C Entrican, of the A J Entrican Company, has just experienced a sad bereavement in the death of his wife, who passed away suddenly last night under most distressing circumstances. Mr and Mrs Entrican lived at Mt Albert with their two children, and Mrs Entrican, a fine young, healthy woman, of cheerful disposition, would have reasonably been expected to have a generous lease of life. On Tuesday morning she was taken ill with an internal hemorrhage, and medical attendance was obtained with the utmost expedition. Doctors Lindsay and Jones did everything possible, and their patient received every attention that could be devised, but without avail, and she passed away peacefully on Tuesday evening. Mrs Entrican was a daughter of the late Mr D Macpherson, who some years ago carried on a large drapery establishment in Newton. The sincere sympathy of a large circle of friends is extended to the bereaved husband and children in their affliction.
