The cover is to be reversible and uses the same pre-quilted fabric to match the liner.
Several hours (no doubt!!) will be spent joining the fabric as well as positioning the trims - I'm also hoping some fabric will be left over to make a baby 'goodies bag' to match the set.

Here are the various stages of making a matching reversible crib cover.
Here are the 2 different pre-quilted fabrics being joined together with a zig-zag stitch (above) - these will make up the main sections. Each 'section' will be joined ready to finish with trims and edging.
To cover the joins, floral applique trims and lace have been stitched on - positioned accurately with pins (above).
After being stitched, the cover is folded in half and finished with a bias binding made from the main fabric - this was stitched using the same utility stitch as on the liner (above & right).
