Large footstool / seat

At left is the newly revamped footstool - at right the original footstool before its renovation.

Being larger than a conventional footstool & with castors, it was also useful as seating - especially for young children to occasionally sit on!

Several years ago I purchased some metres of a heavy-weight furnishing fabric because I liked the feel of it & thought "One day it will come in useful". It has! On moving & wanting to keep the footstool, the fabric was ideal & more importantly fitted perfectly in the intended house redecoration.

I considered doing the job myself but with many of my stitching tools were still in packing boxes. I thought it better to use a small local company to do the job - this is the result. Wonderful!
