Coursesites Praxis II and PLT

 The Biology Praxis II, Elementary Science, and Principles of Learning and Teaching material is contained in a free platform Coursesites by Blackboard for off-campus and students not enrolled in the College of Education.  Students are allowed to create a free account where they may access the modules anywhere and anytime.  The Blackboard Modules cover EDU 385 Teaching in the Area of Specialization, Biology Praxis II: Content Knowledge, and Elementary Science Praxis II material.  Students will review notes in the online module just like in class then submit a formative assessment through the testing modules.  The instructor has access to the test results through Coursesites by Blackboard to discuss items with the student(s) through the blog or email.  Below are steps to assist students access website and enroll in the free course modules.   

1.  Students simply access:  https://astinson2014.coursesites.com

2.  Click the Self-enroll button.

3.  Click whether you have a Coursesites Account or will need a Coursesites Account.

4.  Complete the information to register for the module.

The home screen “Start here” provides the first assignment of QR codes and links which students practice with a few PLT questions.

The “Exams/Quizzes” link in the PLT module provides students with opportunities to take practice test.  The tests are sectioned into “Weeks” to help student plan backwards from the test date.
